The tips begin at a different place in each module. The advice moves along with the stages of the course.

While you are working through the first study cycle with a large body of material there can be a sense of the subject extending over the horizon. After the second cycle you will have your mind around it and the scale of the material will seem to shrink. The third cycle will go fast and your mind has begun to fully accommodate a well structured knowledge base. At that point it doesn't seem like that much anymore, and it's all accessible. There is no area of MCAT review where this effect will be stronger than the organic reaction mechanisms. This area will seem big at first and later not so big.

Before moving on to the Integrated Course practice items, work on your physics fundamentals with the Concept and Question Cards.

Choose from the resources available within the Topic Pages to reinforce and supplement learning.

Conceptual Integration

Carefully skim your MCAT book-set from the beginning to end, all the way from physics to biology. Spread the time out over the next several weeks, taking about 10 or 15 hours total. Read the bold headings. Look at the figures. Skim the text. Work to get a feel for the scope of each topic and prime future learning.

Read the Interdisciplinary Notes for Module 1.

Play Catch Blue.
